What Larry Norman and Jethro Tull had in common was a peak of creativity between c. 1968 and 1977. Pure genius... though very different.

Hi RObert, my older brother got me into Larry Norman when I was just in High School. SO, very early On. I had something to compare the secular music scene against. And Larry kept winning every time.

Then Dylan came out with SLow Train COming and Saved and Shot of Love

And that was it! They had me. Except I still loved lots of other people too!

I went deeply into the lyrics of everybody.

I got an invitation to come to Salem, Oregon, but I couldn't make the trip, though of course, i wouldn't have loved it ALL.

I saw Larry in concert twice. Once in Opelika, ... I had front row center seat.

Then Larry came to Jacksonville and performed fabulously a one-man show.

I need to get an order in to get a lot of missing cd's. We are gonna prepare an order as soon as we can.

i grew up in Oklahoma City and was introduced to Larry's albums by one of our church youth directors around 1977. Got to see Larry and Randy Stonehill in concert together back in OKC. Still have his records at home. i moved to Silicon Valley in 1989, and got to see Larry in concert again in 1990 in San Jose. (i think the concert was at Venture Christian Church?)

From reading his Street Level Newsletters back in the day, i'd always known that he had roots in San Jose, but it's so cool to see his address here and be able to find his old neighborhood!
