On November 26, 1977 Larry and his friend, journalist Steve Turner went to see the Damned and The Dead Boys at the Round House in London. It was Larry’s first (of many) punk rock shows. A few months later he talked about the experience in a magazine interview. Here’s the edited transcript that was sent to Larry for approval or corrections.

Larry went to this show on his own according to Turner. Pretty rad.

Well, Mr. David DiSabatino of 3004 Bannock Ave., Nampa, ID 83686. You might want to ask yourself a question: Who obsessed and made a documentary film glorifying a hypocritical gay preacher who died of AIDS? And who has been obsessed with a man with long blonde hair for a few decades now, repeatedly and neurotically posting messages to fans of Larry Norman while trying to disguise his true identity by posting under the name of his step-daughter Corrine who has Down Syndrome? Hmmm? You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Seriously. There is nothing wrong or immoral about being gay, but I can assure you that Larry definitely was not. Wishful thinking on your part, perhaps? I could easily delete your above message, but Larry fans all over the world find great amusement in your transparent stupidity.

This entire blog had been a really interesting journey through the smaller things of Larry. I would love to see this be continued if possible despite it ending 9ish years ago. I know there's so much cool stuff we wouldn't ever see if it weren't for this blog.
